A Midwestern kid with a Midwestern mindset, Austin joined Tinman Elite with a hunger to prove himself at the elite level. He took a chance on himself and made the move to Boulder after capping off a decorated career at Division II powerhouse, Augustana, with a runner-up finish in the 1,500m at the NCAA Division II Championships.

That decision to bet on himself is true to the roots of Tinman Elite, and he joins a list of many on our roster who made the sojourn to Boulder to prove themselves. Austin is looking forward to chasing big goals on the track, including breaking 4:00 in the mile, qualifying for the U.S. 1,500m final, and maybe one day mustering up the courage to run a race longer than four laps.

Austin brings a team-first mindest, a consistent approach to training, and a considerable increase in horsepower to Tinman Elite.
