Most people recognize Brian from his heartbreaking final lap in the Steeplechase at the 2018 NCAA Championships—we did too. Brian’s tremendous heart, loyalty, and self-belief were all on display that day in Eugene, as he made a bid for a win and came up short after clipping a barrier. Listening to Brian’s teammates and NCAA Champions, Cameron Burrell and Eli Hall, speak about Brian after his race, it was clear that he was cut from a different cloth.
